It's that time of the week again where we bring you the latest happenings from around the globe. So sit back, relax and enjoy our top stories this week in 'So That's What Happened'.
1) Kidnapped boy found!

Early yesterday morning saw Malaysians all over the world breathing a sigh of relief at the news that Nayati Moodliar, the 12-year-old boy who was kidnapped six days ago on his way to school, had been found. Nayati’s kidnappers released him in Rawang town after receiving their ransom money from his family. Details of the investigation were not been shared but the public have been informed that the boy was returned unharmed and appears to be in good shape.
2) I’m A Barbie Girl.

Valeria Lukyanova, a 21-year-old model hailing from Ukrain has recently been dubbed the real life Barbie doll. With platinum blonde hair, sparkling round eyes, and an incredibly questionable bust-to-hip ratio, it’s no surprise at all why people have been comparing her to Mattel’s plastic masterpiece. The model joined Facebook just last month, and already has up to 160,000 fans! While Barbie’s vital statistics may translate into a desirable plastic figure, I definitely don’t see the same effect on an actual person. Do you?
3) Hot Problems? No, Just Problems.
If you thought Rebecca Black’s infamous single ‘Friday’ was bad, well guess what? The bar for Youtube atrocities has just been raised (or dropped???) further! The song ‘Hot Problems’ which was written and ‘sung’ by Double Take reached over 10 million hits on Youtube and the duo was even interviewed on ABC’s Good Morning America! I don’t know which is worse; assuming you’re so hot you should sing about it, or singing at all when you can’t. Oh dear me, what is becoming of this world?
4) Pudgie Returns Home

Talking pudgie, Piko-chan, escaped from his home in Sagamihara city, Japan when his owner accidentally left his cage door open on Sunday. The bird was found in a room at a nearby hotel and was turned in to the authorities when he suddenly began reciting his home address in perfect, clear, pudgie talk. "Sagamihara-shi, Hashimoto", Piko chirped. His owner, Mrs. Takahashi, taught him his address and phone number precisely for situations such as these. I’m sure a lot of crackers and coaxing were involved in training Piko-chan for this, but it sure was well worth it!
5) Ashton Kutcher’s Racist Ad Removed

The goofy actor recorded a series of commercial for PopChips- the US chip brand- playing various bachelor characters in a dating campaign parody. The character at the center of the controversy is 39 year-old Bollywood producer, Raj. The ad sparked an uproar with the public who deemed Kutcher’s portrayal of an Indian man with a heavy accent and brown makeup to be racist. Since then, PopChips has removed the character from the series of ads and wants the public to know that no disrespect was intended. It’s always good fun until somebody gets hurt, huh?
So that's what happened!
